Magnolia Mall serves a captive audience with a strong tenant lineup. Together with the adjacent community center and power center across the street, shoppers travel from over 60 miles.

The closest mall competition is 60 miles to the east (Myrtle Beach) and 60 miles to the west (Columbia).

There are 1,000 hotel rooms in the six hotels directly adjacent to the mall. The mall is ideally located at the halfway mark on 1-95 between the northeast corridor and Florida.

Magnolia Mall is a part of the region's retail, education and medical hub serving seven counties known as the Pee Dee. Residents of the Pee Dee streamline their shopping in Florence.

Sales have been strong even throughout the country's recession due in large part to a thirty million dollar renovation in 2008, a strong national tenant line up and corresponding high occupancy.

Monster Worldwide created a $28 million dollar customer care facility employing 350; HJ Heinz built a 225,000sf facility employing 350; Roche Carolina Inc. invested $60 million in an expansion; Johnson Controls created a $54 million center employing 200; QVC, Inc., invested $75 million in a 1.4 million sf facility employing 900.

The city of Florence's public high schools enroll over 4,500 students.
