Magnolia Mall is in Florence County, strategically located at the intersection of two
main thoroughfares, I-20 and I-95. Florence County has emerged as a center for industry,
medicine, retail and education. As the retail hub of the seven county Pee Dee Region in
South Carolina, Florence County reports $2.5 billion in gross retail sales. As the
medical hub of the Pee Dee, Florence has two major medical centers. Educational institutions
include an accredited four year state university and a leading state funded technical
college. The mall added the Verandah Cafe Food Court in 2003 along with a 32,000 sf Best
Buy in an anchor location and will add a 29,000 sf Barnes & Noble store and a 45,000 sf
Dick's Sporting Goods in 2007 as well as completed a mall renovation.
