PREIT Reports Over 350,000 sf of New Deals and Openings Across Its Portfolio in 2025
Across its portfolio, PREIT achieved steady leasing progress, notable additions, and key project milestones throughout 2025, advancing long-term asset performance and reinforcing its commitment to creating well-rounded, community-driven retail environments.
This year’s activity spans apparel, dining, specialty retail, and early phases of mixed-use development, reflecting continued demand for high-quality retail space and PREIT’s focus on evolving its properties into multi-dimensional lifestyle destinations.
In 2025, PREIT executed new leases for over 255,000 square feet and opened almost 200,000 square feet of new retail across its portfolio.
The year also reflected ongoing strength in categories such as experiential dining, athletic and outdoor lifestyle, and specialty retail, all of which continue to drive traffic and broaden the appeal of PREIT’s properties.
Among the many updates across PREIT’s portfolio this year, key highlights include:

Across the portfolio, PREIT hosted a range of local, short-term retail activations, including Saddlehill Cellars at Cherry Hill Mall and Hagerstown Flying Boxcars team shop at Valley Mall, that added seasonal variety and complemented each property’s broader tenant mix.
“The momentum across our properties reflects the strength of our markets and the quality of the operators choosing to invest in them,” said Joe Aristone, Chief Revenue Officer at PREIT. “Our team remains focused on delivering a balanced mix of retail, dining, lifestyle, and daily-needs offerings that add value for tenants and visitors alike.”
PREIT continues to prioritize properties with strong long-term growth potential, aligning its leasing efforts with categories that create repeat visitation and reinforce community connection. The mix of national brands, emerging concepts, experiential dining, and locally rooted pop-ups underscores PREIT’s ongoing approach to thoughtful leasing and strengthening each property’s role in its community.
