Cherry Hill Mall Welcomes 6 National Brands
Cherry Hill Mall Welcomes 6 National Brands Representing Nearly 30,000 Square Feet of New Retail
PREIT and Cherry Hill Mall are welcoming one of the property’s strongest collections of new retailers in years, with Aritzia and its in-store A-OK Cafe concept among six nationally recognized brands expanding the mall’s lineup through leases totaling nearly 30,000 square feet.
Crocs, Indochino, Timberland, True Religion, and gorjana have also signed leases at Cherry Hill Mall and are opening on a staggered timeline that began late last month and extends through the 2027 holiday season. Together, the new tenants reflect the confidence renowned retailers have in Cherry Hill Mall and reinforce its appeal as the Greater Philadelphia and South Jersey region’s top shopping destination ahead of its 65th anniversary in October.
“Retailers at this level are choosing their next locations very carefully right now, and the fact that six of them chose Cherry Hill Mall in the same leasing period speaks volumes,” said Paula Charles, Senior Vice President of Leasing at PREIT. “We’re proud to see this momentum continue even beyond the new leases and tenants the property has added over the past few years. For shoppers, it means more of the brands they want in one place and an experience that keeps getting better every time they visit.”
Aritzia is bringing its elevated Everyday Luxury experience to Cherry Hill Mall, including an A-OK Cafe, the brand’s exclusive in-store coffee concept. The Vancouver-based fashion house will occupy 20,340 square feet and become one of the largest new tenant commitments at the mall in recent years.
The remaining new tenants are scheduled to open through the end of next year:
- gorjana, the jeweler known for its layered, everyday gold pieces, has signed a 1,107-square-foot lease and plans to be in place for the 2027 holiday season.
- Indochino, the world’s largest made-to-measure apparel brand, will welcome shoppers to a 1,200-square-foot showroom by the holiday season.
- Timberland, the heritage outdoor label recognized for its iconic waterproof boots and lifestyle apparel, will open an 1,800-square-foot store this summer.
- True Religion, the Los Angeles-based denim company, is planning a 2,230-square-foot store targeted for early next year.
- Crocs, the footwear retailer behind the lightweight clogs, debuted a 2,090-square-foot location in late June.
DICK’S House of Sport, the largest single-tenant addition to Cherry Hill Mall in more than a decade, continues to take and is scheduled to welcome its first customers this year. Plus, DoneRight Doner Kebab remains on track to open by the end of the summer.
The interest from new retailers comes alongside continued investment from existing tenants. Spencer’s relocated to a larger space in late May and has maintained a presence at Cherry Hill Mall since it opened in 1961. Pandora has also moved into a bigger location, and Lululemon will relocate to an expanded store before the holiday season.
These additions will follow ALO, Coach, Columbia, Dr. Martens, Kendra Scott, Lacoste, OFFLINE by Aerie, POP MART, Rowan, Signature Workspace, Suki Hana, and many other tenants who have moved into Cherry Hill Mall in the last two years.
