Merry and Bright Holiday Celebrations at PREIT Properties

This holiday season, PREIT properties celebrated merry and bright with special festivities and opportunities to give back to our local communities. We welcomed Santa, hosted vendor showcases, and sent hundreds of hand-made cards to hospitalized children.

Santa Photos

Santa has had a busy holiday season so far! The Big Guy started arriving at our properties in November and has been spreading holiday cheer since.

We welcomed Santa with PJ parties featuring games, crafts, face painting, and special appearances from characters like The Grinch and Frosty the Snowman! At Springfield Town Center, Santa was escorted by their local fire department and made his grand entrance in their fire truck.

Every Monday through December 19th visitors were invited to bring their pets for Family Pet Photos with Santa. We had many furry friends visit – plus a pig and a few chickens too!

Holiday Festivities

This holiday season, our malls hosted Kringle Mingle events where attendees were encouraged to come dressed like Santa or in holiday gear to receive holiday gift bags filled with drink vouchers, retailer gift cards, and other goodies!

Local school bands, choirs, and dance groups put shoppers in the holiday spirit throughout the properties with holiday-themed musical performances.

Viewmont Mall, The Mall at Prince George’s, and Moorestown Mall hosted holiday vendor showcases that featured local and small businesses. Shoppers were able to pick out gifts ranging from clothing to beauty products and more while supporting businesses in their community.

The Season of Giving

PREIT Properties are helping families in need this holiday season by partnering with local non-profit organizations to host Holiday Giving Trees. Shoppers can take a tag, purchase the gift, and drop off the present to our mall management offices. All of the donations go to our non-profit partners so they can be given directly to families.

We helped bring cheer to hospitalized children with handmade holiday cards. Our properties set up card-making stations for our shoppers to write their own heart-felt messages that were sent to Cards for Hospitalized Kids. Cherry Hill Mall was able to send over 475 cards!

Every Wednesday between Black Friday and Christmas we randomly surprised shoppers with retailer gift cards or a sweet treat! Our customers were surprised and excited to receive their

In the spirit of togetherness, our properties will be closed on Christmas Day so our retail employees can enjoy the holiday with their families.
