It has been a busy summer filled with exciting announcements across our portfolio. From the announcement of our first-to-portfolio retail incubator space to the completion of the last anchor box rounding out our anchor-repositioning program, these announcements reinforce our commitment to change the definition of the mall. 1776 at Cherry Hill Mall

In late July, we announced a new partnership with 1776, creator of one of the largest networks of incubators in the Northeast Corridor.  They will come to Cherry Hill Mall to drive innovation among the local retail community. As developers get more innovative with the use of space and the concept of a workplace evolves, this is a new-to-portfolio concept and marks the first mall location for 1776. Fashion District Philadelphia

We recently unveiled a series of impactful Fashion District Philadelphia project milestones at a press conference, including the announcement of City Winery’s seventh location. The announcement also included updates on the dynamic tenant roster and planned community programming reflective of the vision and significant nature of this project’s impact and reach in Philadelphia.  Read more about it on Philly.com, Eater Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Business Journal, and 6ABC.

Willow Grove Park

A new entertainment offering – Studio Movie Grill – will join Willow Grove Park, replacing the former JC Penney, with a high-end movie going experience and dining that will provide local shoppers with more reasons to extend their visit. Read more about it on KYW and The Intelligencer.

SMG Rendering Plymouth Meeting Mall

The next phase of transformation at Plymouth Meeting Mall has been revealed – the former Macy’s site will feature five new and distinct uses with executed leases with three new tenants – Burlington, DICK’s Sporting Goods, and Edge Fitness – and leases are in negotiation with an arts and crafts purveyor and a craft brewery. Woodland Mall

In Grand Rapids, Michigan, where we have an extensive redevelopment underway of one of our recaptured Sears stores, new high-impact tenants that will join Von Maur at the project were announced – Urban Outfitters, REI, Black Rock Bar & Grill and Altar’d State.  Read and watch more about it on WZZM, FOX17 and Grand Rapids Business Journal.
