Uniontown Mall, the premier regional shopping destination in Fayette County, is located 45 miles southwest of Pittsburgh and draws from 35 miles.

The center's location on Route I-40 is within close proximity to Route 119 and 51, and is further strengthened by the construction of Route 43, labeled the Mon-Fayette Expressway, which links Morgantown, West Virginia through Uniontown and on into Pittsburgh.

There is considerable traffic traveling on major highways surrounding the center on Route 40, Route 21 and New Salem Road, with more than 50,000 vehicles passing daily.

Over 20,000 square feet of new in-line stores was added since Fall 2009; Many of the center's top National Retailers such as American Eagle Outfitters, Aéropostale, Pac Sun, New York and Company, and Bath & Body Works are exclusive to the market.

Three major universities (California University of Pennsylvania, Penn State Fayette-The Eberly Campus and West Virginia University) are located within 30 miles of the center, enrolling 35,000 students.

Fayette County is called "The Crown Jewel of Tourism in the State of PA." The center is located near Pennsylvania's largest land-based park, Ohiopyle, and the area attracts more than 1.7 million visitors annually.
