Marketing Director
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement center's Strategic Marketing Plan and Budget to achieve property's annual goals,
impacting sales, traffic and market share.
- Work closely with mall merchants to maximize sales and build positive relationships.
- Position the center as an integral part of the community, generating positive publicity through related events
and actively participating in/with community business organizations.
- Develop and implement a proactive public relations program, serving as liaison with media. In times of crisis,
coordinate PR efforts with PREIT and center Crisis Management Team.
- Work with the General Manager, corporate personnel and other departments to generate revenue contributing to
the property's NOI, including impacting percentage rent, Partnership Marketing, income-producing shows, product
introduction, etc.
- Implement special projects as necessary, i.e. market research, holiday décor, development/renovation marketing plan, etc.
- Interacts with all members of mall management team and corporate departments to ensure positive working
relationships and successful implementation of marketing/property objectives.
- Directly supervise, train and develop supporting on-site marketing personnel.
- Manage the administrative duties required of the department.
- Report to General Manager for property specific, operational, and on-site staff/interpersonal issues with dotted line
report to Regional Marketing Director for all issues relating to marketing and corporate policy/procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS Marketing, Business Administration or related field of study.
- Minimum 3 years experience in Shopping Center Marketing or related discipline.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Exemplary organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient knowledge of computer, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
